Motorsport is back with BDCC!

Bournemouth & District Car Club are pleased to confirm that the Summer Sizzler Slalom at Shillingstone on 19th July will be our first ‘post Covid-19’ event, however it will be for club members only on this occasion. The venue is confirmed and check the website events page regularly as there will be more information to follow. We intend to hold an open-air AGM, following the driver’s briefing.

The latest Motorsport UK protocol in relation to Covid-19 will be in place on the day to keep everyone safe and to make sure we adhere to the conditions of the MUK permit. You can view the new guidance in detail here. The club committee held an ‘exceptional meeting’ on the 2nd June, observing all safe practices, to discuss organisation of the upcoming events in the calendar and how the new MUK guidance will be put in place. If you intend to compete or act as a marshall you will need to complete the designated ‘Pre-Event Declaration Form’ which can be found here. Please send this form in when you submit your normal event entry form (available soon, check the website for updates). Unfortunately if this new declaration form is not completed you will not be able to take part. Please also ensure that you have your correct MUK licence available on the day, more information on licences required to compete can be found here.
